The principle of transparency of business practices under Law No: 04-02

Abstract
In order to protect the economic interests of the consumer, the Algerian legislator stipulated under Law No:04-02 specifying the amended and supplemented rules of commercial practices and its regulatory texts on the necessity of the economic aid’s commitment to implement the principle of transparency of commercial practices, which is represented in the commitment of the economic aid to informing about prices, tariffs and terms of sale, and the obligation to deal with the invoice In order to detect a violation of this principle, qualified agents are entitled according to Law No. 02-04 to control operations, and to verify the extent to which the economic aid is committed to applying the provisions of transparency stipulated in the Commercial Practices Law, Such as detention, administrative closure, confiscation, and prohibition from practicing the activity for a certain period.
