The role of Organizational Effectiveness, Entrepreneurial Orientation on the organizational strategy: Contingent Impact of Innovation in the IT Sector

Abstract
Purpose: Effective functioning is the ultimate objective of every organization, and this offers a rationale for the significant empirical desire to find and understand the determinants of organizational effectiveness. Methodology: The present study adopted the cross-sectional design, with data collected at one stage, and the instrument used was self-administered questionnaires. One hundred and forty-nine individuals from the PASHA in the IT sector in Pakistan have been sampled. The respondent sample comprises 94 % males and just 6 % females. SPSS, the statistical software, was utilized to check the statistical relationships among the constructs. Findings: The regression analysis revealed that entrepreneurial orientation and organizational effectiveness have a positive predictive relationship; however, the relationship was not statistically significant for corporate strategy. Further, this research witnessed innovation's positive considerable mediation effect on the two relations. According to our knowledge, this is one of the primary studies where organizational strategy and entrepreneurial orientation constructs have been taken together to study the role of organizational effectiveness and innovation's mediating effect on the relationship. Originality: This study signifies the role of organizational effectiveness and entrepreneurial orientation on the corporate strategy: Contingent Impact of Innovation. It demands that the concept of organizational effectiveness and entrepreneurial orientation if implemented well in Pakistan's IT companies of Pakistan can be a sustainable source to increase effectiveness and prepare organizations to adapt to environmental changes proactively. It was proposed competition should prevail in the entrepreneurial orientation elements with a blend of organizational strategy for organizational efficiency, and defender should dominate in the organizations.
