Thermal Stresses In A Thin Rectangular Plate With A Moving Point Heat Source In The Framework Of Fractional Thermoelasticity
Kishor Hadke , M S Warbhe
Abstract
The present analysis examines the heat conduction and thermal stresses in a thin rectangular plate subjected to a point heat source. The problem is solved using fractional thermoelasticity and is based on the Caputo derivative of the timefractional heat conduction equation. Integral transform techniques are used to solve the governing equation for heat conduction, and the solution is obtained in an infinite series. An aluminium plate is used in a unique scenario where the findings of the numerical and graphical computation of thermal stress have been utilized.
