To Study Outcome Of Noninvasive Pressure Ventilation Through Bubble Cpap In Nicu

Abstract
In a newborn prevailing cause of morbidity in the initial 24 hours of postnatal life is respiratory
distress which is more common among the preterm as compared to term; and sometimes is also cause for
readmission to hospital. The treatment modalities available are IV Fluids, medications and respiratory support
(either hood, nasal prongs, CPAP, mechanical ventilation). In low-income countries like India in the recent times
Bubble CPAP have emerged as a boon in neonates with respiratory distress due to its easy availability, costing
and its efficacy in various conditions. Hence the present study is being designed to observe the effectivity of
Bubble CPAP in neonates with varying demographic data (like gestational age, birthweight, gender, causes,
complications etc)
