UNICOSTA COMPETENCY OBSERVATORY. Learning Outcomes: A Tool for Continuous Improvement in Curriculum Management and Teaching

Abstract
This article unfolds the conception and implementation of the competency observatory of the
Universidad de la Costa, establishing lines for pedagogical improvement based on the use of the results,
to take action for the progress and performance of the academic programs of the institution. Within the
structure, the basic referents of the observatory are proposed, and each of the different phases
establishes multidisciplinary perspectives. The exercise reveals conclusions focused on the role of the
professor as a fundamental agent of change in the teaching-learning dynamic in the context of higher
education.
