Urban Flood Control System using Fuzzy Logic and Internet of Things (IoT) for Smart City
Anil M. Hingmire, Pawan R. Bhaladhare
Abstract
Urban flood disaster losses have increased in recent decades as a result of climate change's worsening of meteorological disasters worldwide. Numerous approaches have been put forth in related research to improve urban flood resilience infrastructure, flood forecasting, flood monitoring, and flood warning based on computational methodology like machine learning, fuzzy logic, Artificial Neural Network and green infrastructure. This research paper proposes a real time flood control system based on Storm Water Control Network Model (SWCNM) based on Internet of Things. The proposed urban flood resilience model is based on fuzzy logic controller to controls the surface water by analyzing the most affected area by considering the optimum use of actuators.
