Vehicle Ad hoc Networks: A Comprehensive Survey (VANET)
P.Velmurugan,B.Ashok
Abstract
A broad and developing field of research in vehicle communication technology is the Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET). A network without infrastructure is the VANET. It is used to improve driving comfort and safety for certain applications. Vehicle-to-vehicle networking allows for safe data sharing travelling on a road or highway. Applications for the VANET are being created for metropolitan areas over the whole world VANET offers an identity recognition technology that significantly improves activity of administrative measures and traffic accident reduction. The main objective of this technique is to put together an environment for vehicle safety and security. In recent years, several structures, algorithms, and protocols have been implemented to improve the efficiency of moving vehicles. The writers of this research study highlight contemporary issues including innovations, exploitation, safety, security issues, and the most recent plans running consecutively in diverse contexts. By filling in the research gap of previous studies and taking into account the most recent developments in VANETs, this article provides a thorough examination of the complete VANET system and its uses
