The aim of this article is to highlight the welfare programme for society of Tirunelveli Social Service Society. Tirunelveli social service society was not only the Christian people but also all religion people were cooperated this programme because head of the union , head of the women's Association and members were all other religion like Hindu Muslim people were included so this was completely social welfare programme. On 1972 onwards Jesuits fathers started TSSS,Because their motivation for to create a Tirunelveli diocese in 1972 -1982 TSSS director Fr. Malayapuram, Assistant director Fr. Arul .during the period 1975 to 1980. 194 villages and 12,257members inTSSS, during the period work of TSSS. To help the poor and downtrodden people After Tirunelveli diocese created The Director of TSSS Fr. Kulandai Raj was to organaise the programme for self employment because the father Kulandai raj wants to relieve curdle of one owns life gave to self employment some other development programmes were started
