A Study of women investors' perspective towards Indian Capital Market with special reference to Kanpur District

Abstract
This paper highlights the outlook of women’s with regard to their investment patterns in the capital market. In accordance with the study conducted in the district of Kanpur we conclude that majority of women in Kanpur are still not aware about the capital market instruments and their applications in real life scenario but are now attempting to gain knowledge about the volatility in the marketthrough various online webinars, andseminars. Women have historically favored investing in assets with higher rates of return. Women are now completely trying to change the manner that investing was done and how conventional methods were being approached. The purpose of this study is to gather information about the trading and investment strategies of female investors, as well as their knowledge of the capital market instruments and risk preferences in context with Kanpur city.
