Abstract
Congenital heart defect (CHD) is the most common birth defects representing a major global health
problem.In India the prevalence ranges between 3.9 and 26.4/1000 live births in hospital-based
studies in India, which is not uniform across the country.All major congenital anomalies comprise of
heart defects1
