Green Supply Chain Management: An Overview

Abstract
This paper highlights about the term green supply chain management. With the change in the climate, there is an urgency to implement the green supply chain management practices in the organization. The term “Green Supply Chain Management” is related with sustainability and has its long term positive implications. This paper comes out with the valid necessity and requirement of executing the GSCM practices in the current business scenarios. Terms such as GSCM and Green logistics are often misinterpreted, basically green logistics ties environmental and economic efficiency into logistics by reducing the impact of the sector on the environment.
