Abstract
Pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) is the only potentially curative therapy for malignancies of the pancreatic head and
periampullary region. Despite this complicated surgical operation is mature, the low R0 resection rate remains the
major obstacle to improving the prognosis of pancreatic cancer.
